There were many different levels of karst evolvement which result from tectonic uplift and sea level changes, thus the karst landscape of Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park is extremely complex with high geodiversity and many geomorphic features of considerable significance.

 

Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park is a complex area in reference to its diverse topography. There comprising thrilling underground rivers, impressive rock mountains and amazingly home to over 100 types of animal like tigers, elephants, even saola, more than 300 kinds of bird and 81 types of reptile.

 

Two most popular destinations to visitors are Paradise cave, up to 100 m high and 150 wide discovered in 2005 and Son Doong cave, most recently but not yet entirely explored in 2009. The caves are promised to take your breath away by fantastic view and mysterious beauty. Son Doong now is recognized as the world’s largest cave and growing to be the most interesting and attractive destinations for both adventurous souls and professional explorers.
